Seamless online presence

Best way to keep in touch with coworkers in a distributed "everybody works from home" company.

I use it only for IM, and its on my PC, iPad and iPhone.

I have mostly Trillian Astra network buddies, but with meta contacts it really doesnt matter what service my friends and coworkers use.

I set the mobile indicator to show only on my phone, so they can tell Im on a tiny keyboard, but not on the iPad as Im probably just in a different room and can walk back to the PC if a major conversation starts.

Been using Trillian for years. Proprietary IM systems are as dumb as proprietary email used to be. Thank you for a great service.
