Trillian App Reviews

Ive used Trillian on my PC for years now, and I have always been happy with it. The iPhone app is just as easy to use, and allows me to keep in touch with people from the old days of the Internet.

I was told this was the next best thing to use in the absence of Pidgin. It is nowhere even close to Pidgin in performance, user options, or any other feature. A "chat" app should automatically load (unless told not to) and "stay connected" unless set to do otherwise. I might as well not use this app ... Half the time I expect it to be live and waiting for a call and its in "away" mode or logged out! I WANT PIDGIN ... You can have this one back. No thank you!

Every time I open the recent convos tab, the app immediately crashes. Not sure if this is a recent issue with the newest update, but its unusable if it keeps crashing.

I just wish they would update the app as much as they updated the program.

I still havent found any other cross platform chat program out there and Trillian has fixed most of my issues over the year (slowly but steadily.. You just need to be patient!). I hope Trillian stays alive for a lot longer because it is still one of my most used apps on a daily basis. I am a paid, lifetime subscriber!

Considering how out of date aim itself is, this app does a pretty good job of allowing me to message people with the service. That being said, it has some issues. It doesnt always keep my messages (but neither does the other app actually put out by the company) and it has given me ghost notifications for two days now. There are apparently two messages I just cant see. All in all, usable but could be better.

Dont normally do reviews but this app deserves one. Has helped us save or complete numerous transactions over our site. Happy

The user interface is a bit awkward, but it does the job.

I continue to use this since its really the only cross-platform multiple protocol client out there but the lack of features is frustrating. Share Sheet functionality, multitasking, replying from the lock screen and 3D Touch are really needed. At least bring it up to speed with iOS 8.

But sometimes it acts up. Like right now it wouldnt load messages. Had to uninstall and it worked for a minute. Then had to reboot my phone and it worked for a minute. Now neither way works. This used to happen here and there and Im getting tired of it now.

I have the cloud license for trillian. It works great with all my devices. It just... Works... Thanks trillian for making things easier in my IM world.

No complaints here! Perfect for multiple IM platforms.

This app does not send an authorization request successfully - garbage spam program that cannot even connect accounts let alone do what it advertises

Using latest Trillian on iOS 9.3.5 and the app crashes all the time.

I have been using Trillian for one week now and am very satisfied so far. Easy to log on and chat with my friends. I hope it stays this way.

I use trillion on a pc a few times, but the app for the iPhone refuses to verify any of the information for my accounts.... Sorry, but just deleted it immediately after downloading it. I like it for the pc, but its worthless on iPhone.

Trillian is what I have used since I first started using instant messaging services. I loved it then, and still love it now. I love everything being in one place, and it works great for me.
